If you’re driving from New Jersey, take advantage
of the ferry that runs between Weehawken, N.J.
and Manhattan’s West Side. NY Waterway provides
service every 10 to 20 minutes, docking at 12th
Avenue and 38th Street, across from the Javits
Center. The ferry is $17 round trip. All-day parking
is an additional $10/day at the Port Imperial/
Weehawken Terminal. For schedules and parking

PUBLIC BUS
The 34th Street cross-town bus now stops on
34th Street between 11th and 12th avenues. The
42nd Street cross-town bus (M42) stops at the
south end of the inner roadway. These buses run
river-to-river (east-west) with stops on every block
and are accessible from north-south routes via a
free transfer. Public lines also serve Fifth Avenue
(M2, M3, M5) and Avenue of the Americas (M5, M6,
M7) with north-south routes stopping approximately
every other block. One-way MetroCard fare is
$2.50; coins are accepted. For further transit

SUBWAYS
The closest subway line to the Center is the Eighth
Avenue, IND line (A, C, E) at either 34th or 42nd
streets. Other convenient subway lines on 34th and
42nd streets are: Seventh Avenue IRT (#1, 2, 3,
9); Flushing Line IRT (#7); Sixth Avenue IND (B, D,
F, V); Broadway BMT (N, Q, R, W); Grand Central/
Times Square Shuttle. One-way MetroCard fare is
