Spanish cuisine is served
up two ways at
Huertas
in Greenwich Village. In El
Comedor, the intimate dining
room, the Menú del Día is
a seasonally-driven menu
inspired by Basque country.
Guests looking for small bites
stop at the Pintxos Bar, where
a rotating selection of cured
meats, cheeses, octopus
and olives can be easily
shared, and washed down
with vermouth made on-site.

Shop, Choza Taqueria, Court

Named after President Chester A. Arthur,
Arthur Avenue
is a Bronx
neighborhood that clings to its Italian character, forged by the
families who settled here in the early 1900s. Take a self-guided tour
of the indoor market, family-owned pasticcerias and salumerias,
import shops, and restaurants.

India’s rich cultures, everyday
life, and artistic practices
are richly represented in
the “
Francesco Clemente:
Inspired by India
” exhibit at
the Rubin Museum of Art.
Transforming ancient symbols,
myths, and ideas, Clemente
created dreamlike landscapes,
animals, and human figures
in these 20 works, including
paintings from the last 30
years, and four new, larger
than life-size sculptures
created especially for the
exhibition.
