What resources are available at Artisan Resource?
A curated collection of handmade production resources, at export terms from the
country of origin. Products span a range of materials, including textiles, ceramics, glass,
metal, leather, natural fibers, recycled materials and paper.
Who is the Artisan Resource buyer?
Import buyers representing large and volume retail stores; national retail chains; mail
order catalogues; wholesale companies and manufacturers; designers, and sourcing
agents, including ABC Carpet & Home, Anthropologie, Canvas, Frontgate, Global Goods

Who is the Artisan Resource exhibitor?
Overseas artisan enterprises offering handmade products and custom design/private
label production capabilities at export terms. These carefully selected companies are
experienced in exporting, chosen for their commitment to design innovation, cultural
preservation, social enterprise and sustainability.
What countries will be represented?
Participating artisan groups represent countries like Cambodia, Colombia, Ecuador,
Guatemala, Panama, Peru, South Africa, Tunisia and Vietnam. Companies have included
the Bethlehem Fair Trade Artisans from Palestine; Earthfrendz from India; SASA Designs
by the Deaf from Kenya, and more.
Is There Any Special Programming?
Yes! Daily “Importing 101” seminars will be
offered August 16-19 covering the basic
vocabulary and logistics of importing into
the U.S. from abroad. All market participants
are also invited to an opening-day welcome
reception on Auust 16!
