Schramm, DO, would serve as the first executive secretary. The first 14 years of the ACOFP’s history would see 11 presidents. Keith Pauley, DO, FACOFP 1963–1964 George Cozma, DO The Board of Governors, originally consisting of the eight founders, eventually became a formal structure consisting of eight offices: • President • President-Elect • Executive Secretary • Treasurer • Vice President Pacific Region • Vice President Western Region • Vice President Central Region • Vice President Atlantic Region In addition to the officers, there were also four at-large members on the board, bringing the total number of board members to 12. A review of the committees from the early years gives significant insight into the priorities of the founding members.
