140 Leadership To Dr. Park, the most important mission was to engage membership, ensuring that their voices were heard and their contributions recognized. One of his favorite things as president was traveling to different state society meetings and COMs and having personal conversations with members. Another aspect of this was recruiting new and previous members to join the organization. He sent recorded video messages to members with the hope of engaging with those who preferred watching a short video rather than reading an email. He visited 18 state societies and student chapter meetings and fostered networking opportunities at conferences. During the annual convention in Orlando, Florida, he hosted the resident and student leaders in the presidential suite and provided a brief leadership development and networking session. These interactions provided valuable insights and helped strengthen ties within the osteopathic family. Dr. Park’s fondest memory is the great sense of camaraderie and dedication within the ACOFP community during his travels. Witnessing the passion and commitment of members and knowing that collective efforts made a positive impact is something he will always cherish. 2024–2025 BRIAN A. KESSLER, DO, FACOFP dist.
