128 Leadership 2005–2006 GLENN G. MILLER, DO, FACOFP Conshohocken, Pennsylvania A board-certified family physician who is also certified in geriatrics, Dr. Miller is an honors graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). In private family practice for 28 years, Dr. Miller has served as president of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physician Society and as a member of the Pennsylvania Society of General Practitioners board of directors. He is a past recipient of the Family Physician of the Year Award in the state of Pennsylvania and the Raymond J. Saloom, DO, Memorial Award for outstanding contributions in family practice, and he was chosen as a Plymouth Whitemarsh High School distinguished graduate. Dr. Miller and his wife, Lynne, who works with her husband at their Conshohocken family practice, have three children. Glenn Jr. graduated from PCOM, Sean is at Loyola University, and Colleen is at Gwyned Mercy Academy. 2006–2007 THOMAS N. TOLD, DO, FACOFP dist. Parker, Colorado Dr. Told received his postgraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 1969, and acquired his osteopathic degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1973. He interned at the U.S. Army Medical Corps, Brooke Army Medical Center, from 1973 to 1974. He has been a member of ACOFP since 1982, was certified in 1987, and became a fellow in 1991. Dr. Told has held many leadership positions with ACOFP, including chair of ACOFP’s 36th Annual Convention in San Diego, California. He received ACOFP’s Family Physician of the Year Award in April 1997. He was the Mary Burnett, DO, distinguished lecturer in 2008. Dr. Told left active practice in January 2009 to join the faculty of Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado, and pursue his passion for osteopathic postgraduate education. Formerly, he practiced for 34 years in Craig, Colorado. Dr. Told and his wife, Mollie, have three married sons, ten grandchildren, and four greatgranddaughters. 2007–2008 STEVEN F. RUBIN, DO, FACOFP dist. Fair Lawn, New Jersey A board-certified family physician, Dr. Rubin is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Rubin served two terms as president of the New Jersey State Chapter of ACOFP, 1994–1998. Dr. Rubin is currently an attending physician and served as chair of the department of Family Medicine at Valley Hospital in New Jersey. He is also associate professor in the departments of Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, the New York Institute
