His influence will live on through the years in the words of our constitution and rules of our congress. RODNEY M. WISEMAN, DO, FACOFP dist. Dr. Wiseman was elected speaker of the Congress of Delegates to fill the vacancy when Dr. Zachary retired. Dr. Wiseman served in the position for seven years, before being elected to the Board of Governors in 2008 and becoming president in 2017. (See ACOFP Past Presidents, starting on page 103.) MARK E. SIKORSKI, DO, FACOFP dist. Dr. Sikorski was elected speaker of the Congress of Delegates in 2008 and remained in that role through 2016. A board-certified family physician, Dr. Sikorski is a 1987 graduate of the Michigan State University – College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) in East Lansing, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree from Oakland University. A Michigan native, Dr. Sikorski has served on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association Osteopathic Family Physicians and as vice speaker for the Congress of Delegates of ACOFP. Dr. Sikorski is the son of the late 1986 AOA President Eugene L. Sikorski, DO. ELIZABETH A. PALMAROZZI, DO, FACOFP Dr. Palmarozzi became the first female speaker of the Congress of Delegates in 2016 and continues to serve in this role as of publication of ACOFP’s history. Dr. Palmarozzi is the founding campus dean of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Montana. She previously served as founding dean of the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine–Auburn campus in Alabama. A Texas native, Dr. Palmarozzi attended the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and she is a past president of the Texas Society of ACOFP. Upon completion of her medical training, Dr. Palmarozzi cared for her patients in her family medicine practice until beginning her tenure as a dean. She also served as professor of family medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she was awarded the Stanley Gillbert, MD, Professorship in Medicine. Dr. Palmarozzi has held numerous academic and leadership roles throughout her career. Elizabeth A. Palmarozzi, DO, FACOFP, and Antonios J. Tsompanidis, DO, FACOFP dist., became speaker and vice speaker (respectively) in 2016 and continue to serve in these roles as of publication of this history.
